Title: 2021 8- Hour Online Annual EEO Investigator Refresher Course

Practical Tools and Techniques, Legal Policy Updates, and Refresher on EEO laws, context, and Theories of Discrimination

This course fulfills the EEOC 8-hour Refresher requirement for EEO Investigators and is designed to refresh investigator knowledge on EEO policy and laws, tools, and techniques for conducting investigations, and recent changes in EEO law. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive your certificate which can be used to document your successful completion of this annual requirement. 

 

Who Should Attend:  Certified EEO Investigators needing to complete their annual re-certification.

What is the learning experience?


Your learning experience will consist of tools and frameworks delivered via video lectures. This course is self-paced, and you can start and continue as needed until you finish the course. While this course has some simulations, there are no required tests or quizzes mandated to pass this course.




What is the program format?


The program consists of 4 modules delivered at your own pace online. Learners can expect to dedicate no more than 8 hours to watch the videos and listen to the lectures. This structure allows for a flexible but structured approach to learning. Learners may choose to engage with the program module all in one sitting or in smaller segments of time throughout the week.




Could a learner choose to opt out of some topics?


No. Each module must be attended to receive a certificate at the end of the course.




Are any of the sessions delivered in real time (live)?


This course is pre-recorded to provide the most flexibility to learners to complete the content at their own pace and on their own schedule.




What are the requirements for accessing the program?


Participants will need the following to access the program:

Do the programs offer a certificate?


Yes. Participants will receive a digital certificate of completion from Spectrum EEO following a successful conclusion to the program. Since the program requires the learner to review all the modules, the course must be fully reviewed obtain the certificate. This digital certificate can be shared with colleagues and posted on LinkedIn. (PLEASE NOTE: We do not provide reports of assessments, or “transcripts,” since this is a non-degree program.)
